Tempo run, about 8:30-8:15min/mile. I felt a little tired after two 6 mile runs over the past two days. I need more time at tempo to get used to running fast again and fueling with an elevated HR.
I’ve only been drinking water on these shorter runs and it has worked out.
Eat eat eat! Eating a meal after the run + a protein shake has made a huge difference.
I’ll take tomorrow off, 5 miles easy on Wednesday, and then 20+ miles on Thursday.
