This was my first run back after taking 2 weeks off after my race. The time was definitely needed after the race. I felt good for the first 5 miles and then the front of my hip flexors starting to feel tight/painful. My knees had some pain around miles 5-7 but worked themselves out.
9 miles was probably a little much for my first run back and I have some slight pain today (the day after the run).
It’s time to focus on strength this winter season!
